Blake has grown up always working with his hands. His dad inspired him when he was young by bringing him engines to tear apart and providing him with new projects to learn. Blake has always known he wanted to be a tradesman. He fell in love with welding in 2014 in shop class at Coeur d’ Alene High School.

Blake graduated from Coeur d’ Alene High School in 2018 while enrolled in the KTEC Welding and metal fabrication course. Blake holds American Welding Society certifications which he achieved through KTEC. He began working at a local fabrication shop after his first year of attending KTEC. Immediately after graduation, Blake became a full time employee where he soon earned the title of shop foreman.

After five years in industry, Blake was eager to have the opportunity to teach the next generation of welders. When he is not teaching, he continues to work at the fabrication shop he originated from.

When Blake is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife Sara. He loves duck hunting, fishing, cooking and working on vehicles
