Lena Cooley is the Print Shop manager for the Coeur d'Alene School District and teaches Media Technologies and Graphic Communication at Venture High School, thus providing students with hands-on experience in the shop. She is passionate about print media and printing and is excited to have the opportunity to share the two with her students. Upon receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Advertising, and Public Relations from the University of Idaho, she spent fifteen years working for print shops and advertising agencies.
Since 2000, after receiving a masters in Curriculum and instruction and Teaching certification, from Eastern Washington University, and a Professional and Technical Certification she has taught various classes ranging from English to art, psychology, career focus, and teen living
Along with teaching, Lena also owns her own advertising, public relations and costume design business. She is an avid snow boarder, has coached soccer at various levels including high school, college, and the Olympic Development Program, has been married for over 25 years and has two boys.
