Sean Sater teaches the HVAC/R apprenticeship programs for KTEC and North Idaho College. He received an HVAC AAS degree from SCC in 1999, and holds an EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling Card, an Idaho HVAC Journeyman License, a Heating Mechanic II License, a 06A Electrician License, a 1st Class Boiler Operator License, and Secondary and Post-Secondary Advanced Teaching Certificates for Idaho State. He worked as a commercial service technician HVAC Journeyman in the area for over twenty years prior to transitioning to an Associate Professor. He has a strong passion for lifelong learning and enabling others to succeed in the HVAC work field. One of strongest strengths is my interpersonal relationship skills, I use these skills to get to know my students well, allowing them to trust me, and know that I care for them and their success in learning. I have also coached premier soccer teams in the local area that also impacts my ability to get the best out of my students.
